FITNESS THROUGH PLAY

Sometimes the thing you think is holding you back is actually the thing setting you up for everything you really want.

You just have to reframe the way you look at it.

Today I was talking to a potential client. He told me it was hard for him to exercise because he works and has two kids.

I said, “That’s awesome.”

You have a job to provide for your family — that’s a blessing. And those two kids?

They’re not a roadblock to your fitness. They’re your secret weapon.

That secret weapon is called play.

When you’re with your kids after work, don’t just sit down and watch a screen. Don’t let that time go passive.

Instead, play with them.

When we were younger, most of us weren’t in shape because we followed a program — we were in shape because we played.

Hide and seek. Tag. Chasing games. Dance-offs. Wrestling. Jumping around just to jump around.

That’s movement. That’s cardio. That’s life.

So I told him:

Never see your kids as a barrier to your fitness again.

See them as the opportunity.

Spend time with them in motion. Burn calories. Build memories. Be super dad.

Let’s get busy, people.

Stop making excuses. Start making moves.

Find a way.
